TEXAS NEEDS OUR HELP

It is critical for pollinator habitat and erosion control to be quickly restored so that damage from natural disasters is not made worse
by every extreme of nature that occurs before adequate vegetation is reestablished.
We support ecosystem recovery by increasing plant coverage while adding a touch of beauty and hope in the areas that need it the most.

BECAUSE IN TEXAS, WE ROOT FOR EACH OTHER.

TEXAS ROOTS is a grassroots eco-recovery service for disaster areas. We work with growers and independent supporters
to distribute plants to areas in need of erosion control, pollinator habitat, and the beauty of nature.

Our three current areas of focus are:

1) The small communities Hurricane Harvey impacted in the Texas Coastal Bend

2) The area affected by the Bastrop Fire Complex

3) The I-35 Corridor between Austin, TX and San Antonio, TX.

HOW TO SUPPORT THE PROJECT

The Mission is simple: To increase plant coverage in Texas. Thanks to our evolving network of growers, we are able to increase purchasing power at least 3:1 for every dollar spent on plants sent to disaster areas.
